DMX Analysis & Collaboration in Patient Care

Because our office is among the few facilities in the region offering on-site Dynamic Motion X-Ray (DMX), we welcome the opportunity to collaborate with chiropractors and other healthcare professionals by providing advanced motion imaging for their patients.

Our goal is to support your clinical decision-making by offering access to detailed DMX imaging and reporting while allowing you to maintain continuity of care with your patient. Patients referred to our office receive a copy of their imaging and a detailed written report of findings. Referring providers can also receive a copy of both the imaging and report sent directly to their office with patient consent.

We value professional collaboration and are grateful for the opportunity to partner with providers dedicated to helping patients improve function, recover, and achieve long-term health.

Why Refer for Dynamic Motion X-Ray?

Dynamic Motion X-Ray, or videofluoroscopy, of the spine is a real-time imaging technology that provides a view of the spine and its components in motion. Using a very low-dose continuous X-ray beam, the imaging video provides information that can help in assessing spinal function, alignment, and abnormal movement patterns such as instability, hypermobility, and intersegmental restriction. This technology can be particularly useful in evaluating conditions that affect mobility as it provides a dynamic view rather than just a static image.

DMX may provide valuable information when evaluating patients with:

  • Persistent Neck Pain
  • Whiplash or Motor Vehicle Accident Injuries
  • Concussions
  • Chronic Headaches
  • Dizziness or Balance Concerns
  • Suspected Ligament Injury or Instability Patterns
  • Symptoms Provoked by Movement
  • Complex or Unresolved Cases
